Adult Sunday School & Bible Study Teacher. Founder of the “Q Ministry Project” and “E3- Foundations inDiscipleship”

Wife: Kristine  Sons: Joshua & Nathan & Daughter: Abigail

It Is Well With My Soul!

2 Corinthians 5:17 – Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

I am passionate about impacting peoples daily lives by bringing into focus the relevancy of God’s word. Discipleship is the goal; helping each one that God allows me to, to grow in their personal faith walk, to realize that they must do life with God moment by moment; which can only take place in the context of relationship. God has called each of us into a life of discovery and transformation…my classes are about that journey, about discovering the HOW of being Light & Salt in a broken world.

In addition to serving as a Deacon at FBC Maypearl, I am the Teacher for the Who-So-Ever-Will Class, a couples class ranging in age from 40 to 80+.  My wife, Delta, and I have two sons, Dale Ellis and his wife, Laura, and Andy Ellis and his wife, Shelley, and one daughter, Trina Griffith, and her husband, Ike.

“One Day” is my favorite hymn.

My favorite scripture passage in the Bible is the entire 1st Chapter of Romans.

The Who-So-Ever-Will Class has a fellowship and outreach once a month.  In our class we collect money each Sunday to be used in helping those in need and to purchase church equipment.  We also have a card ministry for class members who are sick and absent.  Aluminum cans are collected to purchase Gideon Bibles.
